This session provides you with the most crucial updates, so you can:

The Porn Question
While the topic of porn has become increasingly mainstream, there is still little guidance for therapists on how to explore it with clients. In this session, Silva Neves aims to clear up the confusion. He’ll help you to:
- Debunk the common myths surrounding porn usage
- Explore the latest scientific research on porn and its impact on our clients
- View porn addiction through the lens of “sexology” so you can provide your clients with treatments uniquely tailored to their needs
You’ll leave this presentation with clinic-ready interventions you need to help your clients across the entire spectrum of pornography use...
... so they can make informed, empowered decisions on how much they consume and when.
Working With Compulsive Sexual Behaviours
If porn addiction is a controversial topic, then what has historically been referred to as sex addiction is right up alongside it. Silva Neves continues to explore the nature of addiction around sex, this time in relation to compulsive sexual behaviours. The differences between “sex addiction” and compulsive sexual behaviours
- Your own potential biases around sex and relationships so you’re able to support your clients in the most effective way
- How we assess and treat clients who’re experiencing compulsive sexual impulses
- The ethical considerations behind treatment so you can guide your clients to make informed decisions regarding their sexual activities
Silva will lead you towards a compassionate understanding of sexual compulsivity and the methods that can be used to help...
...so you can provide your clients with sex-positive treatments that promote both safety and freedom of sexual expression.

Beyond Traditional Couples Therapy: The Relationship Trauma Triangle
Are you familiar with the ‘Relationship Trauma Triangle’? If not, you’re likely getting caught in the trap of “trauma triangulation” with your clients. Whether you’re new to the concept or not, this must-attend session with Tammy Nelson finally provides a model for working with sex and couples that goes beyond ineffective traditional approaches.
- Discover why clients get stuck in “trauma triangulation” —and the roles of the victim, the perpetrator and the rescuer
- Identify and address the common automatic triggers that occur in relationships that lead to ruptures and prevent growth
- Use Integrative Relationship Therapy to help clients investigate their current relationship narratives and create a new vision of healthy sexuality
You’ll finish this presentation with a fresh lens through which to view relationships, focusing on pleasure instead of dysfunction...
...so you can guide your clients towards a more permanent erotic recovery.
Q&A Panel
The experts come together to answer your must-know questions – live! They'll also cover any common questions or queries that arose throughout the day. You’ll end Day 1 with your most pressing clinical queries answered and ready for Day 2!
Viewing Kink Through An IFS-Informed Lens
Our clients are often judged and sometimes even discriminated against for their sexual preferences. In this session, you’ll explore how you can work ethically with clients who engage in kink/BDSM. You’ll become familiar with:
- The common lexicon and practices derived from the kink/BDSM community
- Common stereotypes and biases encountered from society
- How the therapeutic setting can be biased by the larger socio-cultural context of heteronormativity
Then Alessio will view kink/BDSM through the lens of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy model so you can master the use of parts work...
...and explore the identities, biases, shames and desires in relation to kink/BDSM that may exist in both your clients and yourself.
A Non-Pathologising Approach to Polyamory in Therapy
More and more clients are talking about polyamory and other forms of non-monogamy in therapy. As modern clinicians, we need an informed and non-judgmental understanding if we’re to work effectively. In this session, you’ll ensure you’re able to help your clients by:
- Clearly defining other forms of sexuality with a focus on polyamory and consensual non-monogamy (CNM)
- Identifying the common myths and misconceptions around polyamory, as well as your own potential biases
- Understanding the unique benefits and challenges faced by those engaging in polyamorous relationships
Alessio will then continue to view polyamory through the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy model as a useful framework to understand how archaic views on relationships can be combatted...
...so you can help facilitate your client’s self-determination, exploration and empowerment when engaging in non-traditional relationships.

Neurodivergence and Sexuality: Working with ADHD, Autism, and Other Neurodivergent Clients in Navigating Sex
Understanding the unique challenges facing neurodiverse clients is essential for every therapist. This session takes a deep dive into the nuances of neurodiverse sex and relationships... including the expectations and assumptions placed on them by a neurotypical world. You’ll:
- Explore dfferences around sensory processing, communication, emotional regulation and more for neurodivergent clients
- Learn from the lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals informed by the social model of disability
- Gain practical and inclusive tools that support sexual health and intimacy with neurodivergent individuals
You’ll leave this session able to confidently navigate these often under addressed issues with your neurodivergent clients...
...so you can become the neurodiversity-informed therapist that guides your clients toward happier, more fulfilling and more satisfactory sex and love lives.
Lunch
Working With Shame In Psychosexual Therapy
Sex is often an integral part of our clients’ identities. So when they feel sexually inadequate or unaccepted... it can cause a deep and severe sense of shame that impacts their mental health, their relationships and their day-to-day lives.
That's why our clients may never willingly reveal their sex-related shame to us, even when asked about it. We must be able to recognise and address the existence of sexual shame in our clients... or we’ll frequently hit blocks in session including therapeutic ruptures and a baffling inability to progress.
This double session will give you:
- Ways to recognise the existence of sexual shame with your clients
- Step-by-step instructions on how you can respond appropriately in an open and non-judgmental manner
- Practice-proven interventions to treat shame pulling from a variety of effective approaches and modalities
- Common pitfalls you may face in session such as self-doubt and imposter syndrome and how to manage these
You’ll finish this session with a comprehensive understanding of how sexual shame operates with our clients, and how you can identify, respond and treat it in the optimal way...
...so that your clients can finally share their stories, heal their wounds and find self-acceptance.

Sex Over 60
As our bodies change as we get older, it doesn’t mean our sex lives have to suffer. Even with the arrival of fresh challenges such as illness, hormonal changes, new medications or other factors, there’s still always scope for intimacy and connection. In this session, you’ll:
- Become informed on how clients’ bodies and sexual functioning can change as they age
- Get equipped with simple interventions you can immediately apply with clients to promote sexual health, functioning and satisfaction
- Help clients to take proactive steps to protect sexual and general wellness as they age
Your clients no longer need to feel like they’re losing themselves as their bodies age...
...as you’ll be able to help guide them toward maintaining (or even exceeding!) their current sexual satisfaction well into any age bracket.
