Seamus Corcoran is a senior lecturer in psychotherapeutic counseling and a psychotherapist in private practice. He is author of the novel Behind Blue Eyes: A Tale of Joe’s Addiction and In the Theatre of the Self: Reflections on the Use of Drama in Treating Traumatic Stress published by the Journal of Neurology and Neurophysiology. As previous director and teacher of the dramatic arts, his personal and professional journey launched him into the world of psychotherapy. Having sat in both the counseling and client chair, Seamus has used his experiences and professional training to enhance his work in the fields of social care, addictions, couples, and family therapy.
