Trauma in children and young people is on the rise.
And as much as we wish there were... there’s no magic wand we can wave that will change the past of those who’ve suffered and continue to suffer.
But what we can do is help them with how they respond to their experiences, guiding them away from isolation and despair and toward healing and growth.
That’s why we’re hosting a FREE workshop on how you can use the healing powers of play to stimulate posttraumatic growth in children and young people led by attachment, trauma and play specialist, trainer and author Sonia Murray, DipSW!
You’ll master powerful tools from attachment theory, play-based techniques and more to create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to express themselves and process their feelings.
Discover the latest evidence-based, research-backed, practical strategies you can apply immediately with your clients... infused with valuable insights from Sonia’s 40+ years' experience working with children and young people.

Although trauma in children and young people is common, spotting the signs and symptoms can be challenging even for experienced therapists.
In this workshop you’ll identify the manifestations of trauma, and then use resiliency-based creative exercises such as art, storytelling and sensory play to help clients address unresolved conflicts and cope with unmet needs.
Not everyone who experiences trauma experiences posttraumatic growth (PTG)... but using the content shared in this free workshop, you can greatly increase the chances of it occurring with your clients.
You will learn directly from specialist, trainer and author Sonia Murray, DipSW, how you can:
- Add extremely powerful techniques from attachment theory, play-based exercises and more to encourage healing and posttraumatic growth (PTG) with your clients
- Create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to express themselves and process their emotions
- Identify different types of trauma, including developmental and secondary trauma
- Use the latest research and practical strategies around PTG including “the five factors” to inform all your future clinical work
- Immediately apply everything you’ve learned with your child and young person clients
- And so much more!
