Julie Friend

Julie Friend is a chartered counselling psychologist working in private practice in London. She is a registered member of the British Psychological Society, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.  

Having developed an interest in psychology during her years teaching at an inner London secondary school, Julie completed a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology at Roehampton University. This was an integrative training and Julie continues to draw on her knowledge of a wide variety of psychological theories and frameworks to inform her clinical work. Over the years she has developed a particular interest in attachment-based psychotherapy and completed a post-graduate diploma in this subject at the Wimbledon Guild. Since 2007, Julie has worked with adults (18+) in various settings including the NHS, higher education and the private sector.
